Accuracy & updates

Corrections Policy

Rental law and billing practices change. We want errors, broken sources and outdated rules reported quickly and handled transparently.

Last updated: August 30, 2026

How to report an issue

Email info@rentbillcheck.com with the page URL, the statement you believe is wrong or outdated, and—when possible—the primary or official source that supports the correction.

What we review

  • Incorrect statutory deadlines, limits or trigger dates.
  • Outdated laws, agency guidance or company fee pages.
  • Broken or changed source links.
  • Statements that overstate an allegation, settlement or legal conclusion.
  • Calculator logic that does not match the cited rule.

Material corrections

When a correction materially changes the meaning of a page, we update the content, review date and relevant internal tools or linked pages. If the legal source is uncertain during review, we may temporarily remove the verified label or prevent the page from being indexed.

Minor edits

Typographical, formatting and clarity edits that do not change the substance may be fixed without a separate correction note.
