- Refund balance.
- Move-in/move-out evidence supporting disputed deductions.
Current Nebraska mailing rule
If the tenant provides no mailing address or instructions, the statute directs the landlord to use the tenant’s last-known mailing address. Returned or long-outstanding funds can eventually be handled as unclaimed property.
