Rhode Island Security Deposit Wrongful-Withholding Remedy

If the landlord fails to comply with § 34-18-19(b), subsection (c) provides a tenant recovery of the amount due together with damages equal to twice the amount wrongfully withheld and reasonable attorney fees.
