Vermont 14-Day Security Deposit Rule

Section 4461(c) requires the landlord to return the security deposit along with a written statement itemizing deductions within 14 days from the applicable vacate/abandonment trigger. If the tenant gave notice of the date they vacated, that date is used under the statutory language.
