Delaware Rental Application Fee Cap

Section 5514(d) defines a credit-worthiness fee as an application fee and caps it at the greater of 10% of the monthly rent or $50. The landlord must furnish a receipt and retain records; unlawfully demanding more can trigger statutory damages.
