Delaware Forwarding Address Rule for Security Deposits

Section 5514(h) directs notices and deposit returns to the address in the rental agreement or a forwarding address provided in writing at or prior to termination. Failing to provide the address can affect the landlord’s notice duty and double-damages liability, although the unused deposit can still remain owed.
