Iowa Utility Rate & Charge Disclosure Before Lease Signing

Iowa Code § 562A.13(4) requires the landlord or authorized leasing person to fully explain utility rates, charges and services to the prospective tenant before the rental agreement is signed, unless the tenant pays the utility directly to the utility company.
