Kansas Security Deposit Limits: Unfurnished, Furnished & Pets

Kansas does not use one universal deposit number. The ordinary maximum is one month’s periodic rent for an unfurnished unit, 1.5 months when landlord-owned furniture is provided, plus up to another half-month as pet security when pets are permitted.
