How the process works
- Landlord gives written notice of the right to request and attend an inspection after termination notice, unless the tenant gave less than two weeks’ notice.
- Tenant requests the inspection.
- Inspection occurs no earlier than two weeks and no later than one week before tenancy ends.
- Landlord provides an itemized statement of proposed repair/cleaning deductions.
- Tenant may cure the listed conditions before move-out.
